The purpose of this research study is to investigate electronic boundary violations within the gay and bisexual male community. You will be presented with a brief survey that will require approximately 15 minutes to complete.
This survey will benefit you, the participant, by offering more information on appropriate boundaries. In addition, the information gathered will be used to provide more sufficient and better-tailored interventions within the gay and bisexual male community. Additionally, should you wish to be entered into a raffle to win a $20 Amazon.com gift card, you may leave your email address on the final page of the survey.
By participating in this study, there may be a risk that you will feel slightly uncomfortable when answering some of the questions that may be considered personal or sexually sensitive in nature. Risk during participation in this study is minimal, though for any reason should you desire counseling following your participation, referral information will be provided at the end. You can stop the survey at any time if you’re uncomfortable and you will be redirected to a page with the contact information for community counseling centers and crisis hotlines that you may contact, should you choose to do so.
